Dogs and rivers just seem to go together. They seem to get more enjoyment from just being in a river than even children, which is saying a lot. While exploring the rivers in the Texas Hill Country we encounter these happy go lucky beasties every so often and they always hamming it up for a few photos.

These guys were very excited to run several hundred yards down to the river take a quick look at us then reverse back up the hill just as fast.

This guy would run full bore through the water seemingly always surprised when he hit deep water.

Apparently this lab’s most prized possession is his tennis ball.

Chasing fishes is a very important responsibility.

All Bella wanted to do however, was make the biggest, baddest splash ever.
